Asuncion, the heart of South America, will receive you with open arms and will be hosting the IX Latin American Rock Mechanics Symposium.

The theme for the year 2022 will be “Challenges in rock mechanics: towards a sustainable development of infrastructure”, it includes relevant topics for the region and worldwide.
The ISRM International Symposium considers an attractive program for the academics and professionals, with the support of the International Scientific Committee.
It is a great opportunity to share knowledge, techniques and last advances in rock mechanics. Challenges are bigger than ever and this will be a special occasion to meet again with colleagues and discuss about our passion, rock mechanics.
